This is my take on Beate's inspiration piece. The card is all Bazzill Bling - Sunset, 24 Karat, and Emerald City. I cut the Sunset curved shapes freehand with scissors, and then sponged both the shapes and the 24 Karat rectangle with ink from Ancient Page pads Sienna and Sunburst. The Sunset is layered onto the 24 Karat, and then both matted onto Emerald City.
The little flowers were punched out of printer paper with a Woodware punch - Multi-Christmas Flower, and the yellow centres drawn in with a marker. The green wavy 'stalk' and the main flower stem and leaves were cut from the green card freehand with scissors.
I used the no tools flower method to cut and shape the petals on the main flower - which was also made from printer paper. The black stamens were punched with a Woodware Blink Blink punch, and the yellow centre is made from the same two flowers as the little white ones.

Absolutely gorgeous! I love it. What a great interpretation of Beate's inspiration piece.
Wow! This is stunning! I have had those colors of bling for a week and have been trying to come up with something to make with them. I would never have thought of something this beautiful but now I am inspired to try it out! Thanks so much!
Just one quick question... where do you buy your punches. I don't think I have ever heard of the ones you mention in this post. I'm not punch illiterate : )but I can't seem to find the punches you mention. Just wondering because I don't have anything that will work to make flower centers like that and I would love to have a punch for that so I don't have to keep hand cutting them all.
Katherine - you asked about the punches for this flower centre, but didn't leave an email to contact you. So I am hoping that you will pick up the answer here.
The punches I used are both made by Woodware. Here is their site http://www.woodware.co.uk/punches-scissors.asp
Click on craft collection and then 1" punches. Scroll down to the bottom of the page - the Blink Blink punch is in the middle of the second row up from the bottom.
Woodware are not up to date with their site as they do not have some of the newer punches on there - including the other one I am talking about - the Multi-Christmas Flower. But if you go to this site http://www.theglitterpot.co.uk/scripts/prodList.asp?idcategory=276&curPage=2&sortField=a%2Esortorder you can see what it looks like. This is the website of my local craft shop.
But really, for the yellow part of the flower centre any small similar shape, or even a circle will work. I have a tutorial in the pipeline for using them.
Hope this was helpful!
